Cookie Monster Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Mini M&M’s peanut butter or regular
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips (and nuts, fruit, or candy if using).
- Use a cookie scoop to portion dough into balls.
- Freeze dough balls on a silicone baking mat or parchment-lined sheet until solid, then transfer to a zip-top freezer bag.
- To bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake frozen dough balls on a lined sheet for 11–13 minutes. No need to thaw. Just pop them in and enjoy!
