Fruit Shrub

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh ripe fruit
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  • Mash fruit by hand or with an immersion blender.
  • Add water, vinegar & sugar in a glass airtight container and mix well.
  • Refrigerate for 3 days.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Store refrigerated in an airtight container.

Notes

Shrubs will keep in the refrigerator for approximately 1 month.
