Shookhill Tailgate Almonds

Ingredients

  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 TBLS. butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 TBLS. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. sea salt flakes Maldon

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Roast almonds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter and honey, stirring to combine. In a separate medium sized bowl, mix together the sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Once butter and honey are hot and bubbling, add the roasted almonds. Mix well with a rubber spatula.
  • Add the almonds to the bowl of cinnamon, salt & sugar mixture. Using the rubber spatula, stir until the almonds are completely coated.
  • Return almonds to the parchment lined baking sheet and allow to cool completely.
  • Store in airtight containers until game time!
